Hi, I am about to own a 1990 T1 and the passenger seat has been removed. Does this have a base like the driver seat or is it free standing? Thank you.

There have been many different versions of passenger seats. Single, double, two singles, with/without armrests, etc.
The same goes for diver seats. Not sure what you are referring to with 'base'. Do you mean you have the driver's seat with built in suspension at the base?

Thank you for your help. Sorry I didn't make myself very clear. There is a double seat that comes with the Mercedes. The owner had the seat removed that he could clamp a wheelchair in it's place. But to put the seat back I don't know how it mounts, whether it bolts to the floor or if it needs some kind of mounting base. Thank you.
